Fritz Schneider is the ISC Chair and subject expert for the Feed & Forages flagship. He is an independent livestock systems consultant and chair of the Global Agenda on Sustainable Livestock, a partnership of livestock sector stakeholders hosted by the FAO and committed to the sustainable development of the sector. Schneider is affiliated with the Bern University of Applied Science, School of Agriculture, Forest and Food Science, where he was Professor for livestock systems (1993 – 2015) and Vice Director (2000-2010) responsible for research & consulting services. From 2010 to 2015 Fritz was Head Agriculture and was responsible for bachelor studies, applied research & development, continuing education and consulting services.
