Flora Janet Nankhuni is the ISC subject expert for the Livestock Livelihoods and Agri-Food Systems flagship. Nankhuni is a an Associate Professor in International Development in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics at Michigan State University (MSU). Before joining MSU, she worked in the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank (IEG), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), different Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) units of the World Bank. Nankhuni is also currently the in-country Director for the Malawi-based activities of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy (FSP): Malawi. , a project managed by Michigan State University with support from USAID.
