As M&E officer for the Livestock CRP, Caroline Kanyuuru supports researchers by helping them articulate their research outputs and outcomes for learning and reporting purposes. A trained animal scientist, Kanyuuru is passionate about bringing research to use by applying mechanisms that close the gap between research and development.
Prior to joining the CGIAR, Kanyuuru worked as a Livestock Officer, coordinating a beef value chain project in Northern Kenya that aimed to provide reliable and efficient market access to pastoralists. Her work there inspired her doctorate studies, which evaluated how land governance institutional arrangements are adapting in order to address changing social economic and ecological challenges in Northern Kenya.
