Ben Lukuyu is the country representative for the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Uganda. He is also a livestock feed specialist with experience in development of on-farm research and implementing projects within multi disciplinary teams with a wide range of stakeholders in East Africa. He has combined experience in both animal production and nutrition, together with forage production.
Lukuyu is familiar with innovation system approaches and working with various actors along both pig and dairy value chains.
