The vision of the Maziwa Zaidi Research for Development (R4D) program in Tanzania is to achieve an inclusive and sustainable development of the dairy value chain by 2023. This post is structured around the recent Maziwa Zaidi policy forum to highlight key policy relevant studies and evidence presented as posters in six thematic areas. Partnerships to improve pastoral policies in Tunisia – new ICARDA project works on updating Tunisian pastoral code

A new International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) project, Partnerships for Improving Pastoral Policies (PIPP), is offering policy advice to the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture to update the existing Forests Code in an inclusive and participatory way, while at the same time respecting scientifically proven best practices of dryland rangeland governance. Maziwa Zaidi policy forum promotes inclusive investment in Tanzania’s dairy sector
