Initial discussions by livestock sector stakeholders in Ethiopia, under the new Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) project, have identified key technology delivery priorities for increasing the productivity and profitability of the small ruminant and poultry value chains in the country.
Legumes have great potential to contribute significantly to sustainable intensification of livestock production in the tropics, along with the provision of ecosystem services.
